On This Day in History: March 1

This is going to be a new blog series from the ladies at the Library. Join us as we celebrate things like World Compliment Day, or National Peanut Lovers Day. Help us draw attention to important events, such as today's event, National Horse Protection Day.

On this day in history, March 1, 2011, National Horse Protection Day was founded by Colleen Paige, Editor-in-Chief of Pet Home Magazine, author of "The Good Behavior Book for Dogs".
