As you may well know, Canada Reads 2012 is in the midst of debating the best non-fiction book. The winner will be announced today.
The five books chosen for the panel to debate were:
The Game by Ken Dryden
On a Cold Road by Dave Bidini
Prisoner of Tehran by Marina Nemat
Something Fierce by Carmen Aguirre
The Tiger by John Vaillant
So far the list has been whittled down by three. The first book to go was The Prisoner of Tehran by Marina Nemat which was voted out Monday. Day two found The Tiger by John Vaillant left by the curb. Day three's debate sent On a Cold Road to the ditch. Two books are left, who will win the title of Canada Reads 2012, The Game by Ken Dryden championed by Alan Thicke or Something Fierce by Carmen Aguirre championed by Shad. The winner will be announced today. Listen to CBC radio to get the breaking news or follow CBC online.
